Dec 18, 2008 - Maui, Hawaii, USA - ROSANNE HODGE (East London, South Africa) finished equal fifth in the Billabong Pro Maui at Ho'okipa Beach Park, Maui today. After a week of lay-days due to insufficient swell rolling into Honolua Bay event organizers opted to relocate the event to Ho'okipa Beach Park on the North side of Maui. Hodge was in the first Quarter Final of the morning against former 7X ASP World Champion Layne Beachley (Aus) but was unable to catch a wave that would give her the required score for advancement.
