Restoration Project Completes On The UK's Last Remaing Thatched Windmill

Stembridge Tower Mill has stood in the village of High Ham on the Somerset levels since 1822, and was still actively grinding local cereals until 1910. It is one of the few windmills in England to still have any intact mechanisms and has been under the care of the National Trust since 1969.
