Rare Baseball Card

Bernice Gallego of Collectique holds the rare 1869 baseball card that turned up at her shop recently. The card, a Peck & Synder featuring the Cincinnai Red Stockings, the first professional baseball team, is said to be the first baseball card ever produced. It's estimated that there are perhaps only a dozen or so of these cards that still exist. Bernice, not knowing the value of the card, put it on ebay for less than$10 before she found out how rare it was, but was able to take it off and get it authenticated.
