Rikidozan

Japanese wrestling champion Rikidozan (1924 - 1963) puts on his wooden sandals or 'geta' in his hotel in Rome, whilst en route to Paris for a contest, 19th February 1956. He was born Kim Sin-Nak in North Korea, but changed his name to Mitsuhiro Momota to avoid discrimination in Japan. He fights under the professional name of Rikidozan.
